The talented Brad Dolan has joined the Magpies from St Pauls, as has his friend Reagan Maddaford, who arrives from Heatherton.
Both St Pauls and Heatherton are in the Southern league.
Magpies coach Johno Leoncini said Dolan and Maddaford were exciting additions to the side.
He said Dolan was quick and versatile and expected him to play on the wing and in attack, with Maddaford a likely regular through the midfield.
Dolan was named St Pauls’ best player with four goals in last season’s division one Southern league grand final win, while Maddaford is a past division two team of the year member.
Clunes managed just one win under Leoncini last season and will kick off its 2019 campaign with a round one battle against Creswick on March 30.
