In a draft fixture released on Tuesday, it shows that North Ballarat City and Lake Wendouree have been scheduled to play at Mars Stadium on Friday, April 19.
The senior football match is booked to be played under lights.
According to the draft, the season will commence on Saturday, April 13 and feature all clubs playing across 18 rounds.
The grand final is again scheduled for Mars Stadium and has been set down for Saturday, September 21.
Night football will again be a feature early in the season with five matches under lights expected inside the first four rounds.
Other highlights include an Anzac Day match between traditional rivals Darley and Bacchus Marsh and the senior grand final rematch, which will take place in round four when East Point travels to MacPherson Park to take on Melton.
The Kangaroos are poised to unveil their first ever senior premiership flag against Lake Wendouree in round one at the Eastern Oval.
“We have been able to put together a fixture that provides a balance between club requests and being able to maximise the competition for what will be a bumper 2019 season,” BFNL operations officer Shane Anwyl said.
There is a break during the home and away season to allow for the AFL Victoria Community Championships, which will see the BFNL take on the Hampden competition on May 18.
The draft fixture will now be with clubs for consideration and an opportunity to provide feedback.
The final Ballarat Football Netball League fixture will then be released prior to Christmas.
