Now the Webbcona side gets another crack at the second-placed Bareena, which only snuck home by eight shots when the teams first met in October.
Bareena has been in good form since that season opener and heads into this Saturday’s round 10 fixture after inflicting Ocean Grove's first loss last weekend.
That has left Bareena just eight points behind the league pacesetters.
Webbcona was beaten by Buninyong last Saturday and sits in eighth spot on the table.
Buninyong will fancy its chances of landing back-to-back victories with a clash against ninth-placed Highton on the cards this weekend.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Victoria goes in search of its maiden success when it hosts fourth-placed Queenscliff, while Sebastopol will make the trip to battle Eastern Park.
The final match of the round pits Lara against Ocean Grove, which will be fired up after dropping its first game of the season last weekend.
