The City Oval side defeated Kay Geddes, Margaret O'Meara and Joy Adams from Central Wendouree at Victoria.
Kurzman, McCracken and Kierce set up the victory at the outset - scoring four shots on the first end.
Although they led by just two shots after seven ends, City Oval responded to open up an eight-shot gap by end 11 and was able to maintain a comfortable advantage.
They now go on to the regional phase of the state event in the new year.
BENDIGO had the better of BDBD in the The Boromeo Lucas Shield at Kangaroo Flat.
The home outfit took the honours by 11 shots.
Heather Hopkinson, Rhonda Armstrong, Joan Dunn and Margaret O'Meara were Ballarat's best rink.
CENTRAL Wendouree's Joy Adams and Margaret O'Meara reached the last four in the Bowls Victoria women's over-60 pairs finals at Frankston.
Battling wet conditions, they defeated Wimmera's Betty
Cousins and Elsie Bardell first-up and then beat Jan Dellany and Gordana Baric from Mulgrave Country.
They lost a semi-final to Anne Myles and Caroline Reilly (Yarrawonga) to finish equal third.
BDBD midweek pennant is now in its Christmas-New Year break. Matches resume on Monday, January 7.
