2019 FedUni Road National Championships
In its second year racing through Federation Uni, the 2019 Australian Road National Championships is set to launch on Friday morning.

The road race and time trials will also be opportunities to see Australia’s best cyclists in action.
The first race will begin at 11am, where the U19 women take off on 15 laps up and down Sturt Street, culminating in the men’s race at 6.40pm.
When: Friday – Monday, 11am – 8pm.

Forest Garden Course
Invermay’s Chestnut Farm will be hosting a course for people who want to develop a forest garden.
Dave Jacke, Martin Crawford and Chris Evans will be taking participants on a journey through their with the weekend providing the confidence, framework and direction to help.
When: Friday 1pm – 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm.
Where: White Swan Road, Invermay.

Bridge Mall Farmers Market and Design Market
Head down to the Bridge Mall to shop some of the best local produce and unique giftware.
The once a month market is sure to bring in a big crowd so make sure you get in early to make sure you can grab what you’re looking for.
When: 9am – 1pm.
Where: Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central.

Daylesford Farmers Market
If you’re looking for a nice Saturday drive, Daylesford Primary School will be hosting a farmers market. The market showcases great local produce straight from the farm gates and cellar doors for you to come to try and buy.
When: 9am – 1pm.
Where: Daylesford Primary School, 102 Vincent Street, Daylesford.

Beaufort Market
A great country market in a great country town, held on the first Saturday of the month including a mix of food, arts, crafts, collectibles, plants and heaps more.
When: 9am – 12pm.
Where: Beaufort Memorial Park, Corner of Havelock and Livingstone Streets, Beaufort.
Tickets: Free.
Ballarat Produce Swap
Not a single cent will change hands at this monthly community event. Bring along your excess produce from your garden to swap with other keen gardeners. You can also bring seedlings, processed garden produce & related items (e.g. eggs or honey).
When: 9.30am – 11.30am.

Ballarat Market
The weekly market at the Ballarat Showgrounds takes place for the first time in 2019. Make sure you come by to peruse some unique items.

Maryborough Lions Sunday Tourist Market
Shop through crafts, produce, clothing, bric-a-brac, vinyl records, signs and memorabilia during this weekend’s Maryborough Lions Sunday Tourist Market.

Daylesford Market
See a giant range of items out in Daylesford during this weekends Sunday Market.

Sunday Sessions: The Michael Westlake Trio at The Lost Ones
The jazz trio return to The Lost Ones Basement Bar to once again entertain audiences and provide a beautiful soundtrack to your Sunday afternoon.

Summer Sundays
Opening up the new year with a flourish, Summer Sundays at the Bontanical Gardens is sure to provide some quality entertainment over January.

Linton Jam Session
Get your fix of blues, country and folk music at the first Linton Jam Session of the year. See musicians come together to craft some tremendous tunes on the spot.

A place for people to come and dance freely in a friendly, non-threatening, drug and alcohol free atmosphere, No Lights No Lycra is providing a place for people to dance without worrying about what they look like.

Tilly Dog Productions presents Hansel & Gretel
One of the most popular Brothers Grimm tales of all time, Hansel and Gretel will be performed as a pantomime at Housey Housey.
“This wonderful show is for all ages and will certainly be enjoyed by little ones as they will be able to sing along, clap along, cheers and boo,” Director Miranda Donald said.
