Ballarat police are appealing for witnesses following a hit run collision involving a cyclist on Saturday afternoon at Golden Point.

The incident occurred when the cyclist, a 53-year-old Templestowe man, was riding through the roundabout intersection of Main Road and York Street at 4pm.
A car, believed to be a grey sedan, collided with the cyclist, knocking him off his bike before driving off along York Street.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
