The Pointies, the reigning Ballarat Cricket Association first grade premiers, won matches against White Hills and Swan Hill on Sunday to progress to a showdown with Sunshine United.
A half century from Manjula De Zoysa (51) helped Golden Point win the game against White Hills and a haul of 5-6 from Daniel White carried the side to victory over Swan Hill.
If the Pointies beat Sunshine United in the upcoming clash, they will earn a spot in the final at the MCG on February 5.
Golden Point lost to North Ballarat in the first BCA game back following the mid-season break on Saturday and will take on Buninyong in a two-day fixture starting this weekend.
The Pointies are third on the first grade ladder with four rounds remaining until finals.
