A Delacombe man has been committed to stand trial on two charges of alleged sexual assault, and one charge of allegedly causing sexual assault by having another person do so.

Joshua Mangelsdorf appeared in the Ballarat Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Magistrate Ron Saines told the man he had a “right to plead not guilty” to the three charges, but an early plea could be taken into consideration by a presiding judge.
“If you plead guilty today or at any time before the trial, a sentencing judge may take into account your plea of guilty,” Mr Saines said.
Mangelsdorf, who was seated in court in a black two-piece suit, indicated he would plead guilty to the three charges during the committal hearing. No witnesses were called on Tuesday to give evidence.
The accused had his bail extended, with condition that he does not contact witnesses in the case, and continues to reside in his Delacombe home.
Mangelsdorf will go on trial in the County Court when it sits in Ballarat on March 18.
