Ballarat Regatta
School and State rowers will take to the lake for the first Ballarat regatta of the season.

Creswick Farmers Market
The market offers free live music and over 90 specialist boutique sites, including a variety of unique locally made goods ranging from arts and crafts to freshly made delicacies, something for everyone.

Back to School Anti Bullying Seminar for Primary School Kids
The team at Southern Cross Martial Arts will be holding a seminar to teach children how damaging bullying can be, so that they will be less inclined to bully others as part of the “Martial Artists Against Bullying” (MAAB) movement.

Ballarat Beer Festival
The annual event is set to debut at it’s new location at North Gardens as thousands of beer, cider and wine lovers flock to the festival. Offering a combination of both great food and an expansive selection of beverages, it is set to be an exciting day for punters.

Victorian State Yachting Championship
Taking place over Saturday and Sunday, prepare to see some of the best yachting in the state on display on the lake! A Saturday night BBQ ticket is included in your entry fee.

Mecha – Festival of Experimental Art
Mecha is a new and unique arts festival showcasing the best of robotic and mechanical sculpture, performance art, sound, and video art – a home for hybrid and experimental artforms.

Family Day at Buninyong Outdoor Pool
Come down for an exciting day of good-old-fashion family fun around the pool in Buninyong. There will be giant games, a fairy floss machine and a BBQ.

AFLW Practice game: Western Bulldogs Vs Collingwood
Can’t wait for footy to be back? Well you don’t have to wait any longer! The Dogs will take on the Pies in an AFLW match this Saturday at Mars Stadium.

Ballarat Pacing Cup
It is setting up to be an incredibly exciting evening at the Ballarat Pacing Cup, as it’s anyone’s race at this point. Food, drinks, fashion and other activities will be available across the night for those less interested on the on-track action.

Ballarat Market
Along with the regular market, Ballarat Showgrounds will host the All Japanese Car and Bike Show from 9.30am until 2.30pm.

Daylesford Market
Peruse through the awesome oddities and wide range of items up for sale at this weekend’s Daylesford Market at the train station.

Talbot Farmers Market
Explore the stall lined streets displaying an impressive range of seasonal fruit and organic vegetables, local artisan cheese, fresh bread, local wine, gourmet oils, delicious delicacies and more. In true country farmers’ market style you will also find chickens, stockfeed, cut flowers, plants and seedlings.
