Two local wineries are providing some variety at this year’s Ballarat Beer Festival. Pyrenees-based Blue Pyrenees and Taltarni will both be in attendance on Saturday.
Chief winemaker from Blue Pyrenees Andrew Koerner told The Courier they were always happy to support their home base of Ballarat.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products,” he said.
These sentiments were echoed by chief winemaker from Taltarni Vineyards Robert Heywood.
“Being able to present ourselves to a different demographic is always great,” he said.
Both wineries praised the work the beer festival has done in expanding its horizons outside of beer.
