Successful Trentham junior coach Daniel Lendrec has made the move to the Bulldogs where he will work alongside Tisdale.
Tisdale, a playing coach, said Lendrec would control things off-field.
Tisdale said Lendrec had a good rapport with many of the Daylesford region’s young players, which he hoped would help the club.
“He’s got a very good footy mind and I think he’s got high goals for his football coaching career,” he said.
Lendrec has guided Trentham’s under-17.5 side to back-to-back premierships in the last two years.
Daylesford, which finished 15th under Tisdale last season, opens its 2019 campaign with a clash against arch-rivals Hepburn on Saturday, March 30.
