Jerry Evans junior completes the Hotondo Homes Miners import roster for the new elite basketball league.
He joins another American Marqueze Coleman.
Originally from Los Angeles and University of Nevada, Evans has played around the world – spending time in Poland, Greece and New Zealand.
He will arrive in Ballarat next month after completing commitments in Cyprus.
Evans played with Sandringham Sabres in the now disbanded SEABL in 2017, averaging 21.1 points and 9.2 rebounds.
He then joined NBL side Melbourne United as a training partner with Melbourne United, suiting up in pre-season games.
The 203cm Evans then joined Cairns Taipans in the NBL on a short-term injury replacement.
Miners head coach Brendan Joyce said getting someone with the experience of Evans put the team in good stead.
