“This weekend becomes a time where it feels like you have stepped into the 50s in Ballarat, with vintage cars, people dressed up, dancing and music.

“They love coming here. We have people from as far as Perth and Queensland who travel to Ballarat for this event specifically.
“We have so much here for them and we put so much effort into this event. We like to provide everyone with a good atmosphere, good entertainment and we like putting on a community event.”
Organisers estimated a few thousand people attended the event throughout the weekend.
Many purchased tickets to see popular rockabilly bands, while others enjoyed vintage cars, fashion parades, the pin-up competition and dancing lessons.
The festival website states organisers hope to secure a new major sponsor for the 2020 event.
