The band will perform on Thursday night at Karova Lounge, touring their latest single Not Like You, which was released in January. A full-length album on the way this year.
Speaking to The Courier, bassist Tanya Avanus said the fact she was the only female in the band wasn't somethign she thought about recently.
"Now I do feel like I have a responsibility to be a flag bearer for women in music and women in rock and roll," she said.
Avanus said in her hometown of Wollongong 10 years ago "a lot of bigger bands wouldn't make the effort" to visit the town, but said if change can happen there, it should happen in every regional town.
"What we're most excited about is playing places we haven't visited before," she said. "For us its important to play not just the major cities.
"When you play music, it's important to take it out to the people."
Doors open 8pm, support act Wash. Tickets $15.30.
