The cycling is booked to start at the Learmonth Yacht Club on Tuesday, March 26 before the half marathon along the Steve Moneghetti Track at Lake Wendouree on Sunday, March 31.
More than 20 agencies are eligible to have representatives at the games, including Ambulance Victoria, Country Fire Authourity, Victoria Police, State Emergency Service, Parks Victoria and Royal Flying Doctor Service.
"Last year we had around 4000 participants from the various agencies and this year we are hoping to be around about the same," Victoria Police Games Federation president Rick Nugent said.
"There are 23 different agencies involved and 43 different sports so we look forward to some fierce and friendly competition between all the agencies."
The Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games begin on March 22 and conclude on March 31.
