Fire crews from Ballarat City and Lucas CFA’s took more than 10 minutes to bring a car fire under control in Eureka Street, Ballarat East just before 3am.
When crews arrived, the car was completely engulfed.
It is the latest in a series of cars which have been found burned out in the region.
An Audi was set alight on Saturday evening in Black Hill. That car had been stolen the day before from an Errard Street South address with police combing through CCTV footage in order to catch the offender, believed to have been a young blonde man.
Another car was also found burned out in Haddon last week.
There was also a car torched in Buninyong last week, while at least two cars were also set alight in Soldiers Hill within the last month.
Anyone with information as to any of the fires is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
