The month-long event will celebrate Ballarat's food offerings, craft beers, boutique wines and locally sourced produce throughout May.
The inaugural Plate Up Ballarat event, held last May, hosted 38 events involving more than 90 local producers.
It attracted 17,100 attendees and provided an economic impact to the Ballarat economy of $539,760.
Hoping to increase its presence this year, Plate Up Ballarat 2019 aims to attract 10,000 local visitors, 4950 day trippers and 2500 overnight stays with a projected economic impact of $785,500.
It will showcase local producers, while also promoting successful and supportive connections between producers, restaurants and cafes. Tickets for a range of food focused events will go on sale on Monday night.
