Furniture and the 24 pokies on site are believed to have been removed from the Miners Tavern with the business understood to have been wound up.
Last month documents on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission website indicated an administrator had been appointed to the pub on February 7.
The tavern officially closed its doors suddenly on February 22 and has not reopened since.
The closure of Miners Tavern is the latest in a series of closures of Ballarat venues over the past year including Seymours on Lydiard, Mojo’s Lounge, and the Athletic Club Brewery.
The Courier has made repeated attempts to get comment from administrators Patrick Burke and Mat Muldoon at Sellers Muldoon Benton.
When contacted on Tuesday, Mr Burke said he was unable to comment further on the closure.
