The club claimed a fifth division one weekend pennant bowls premiership since its formation in 2004 with a classy display against old foes Learmonth on Sunday.
BMS had trailed the grand final by a narrow margin at afternoon tea, but proved far the better side when the pressure mounted later in the game.
In the end, BMS won three rinks for a comprehensive 119-83 victory.
Graeme Inglis has been part of all those grand final wins and was a happy man after the 100th end at Ballarat East Bowling Club.
"It's bloody fantastic," he said.
"We were expecting a really tough game and it was a tough game. Learmonth hasn't done anything wrong all year and they were again really brave.
"We just got away after smoko. The conditions changed slightly, the green got wider and it got a little bit quicker. That just sort of fell into our hands. We are a quick green sort of club, I suppose you call us."
Inglis said there was extra incentive for the side to perform on Sunday.
"Lindsay Trounce lost his mother-in-law just last Friday and we've lost two of our division one members... Geoff Hogg over the Christmas break and Greg Byron about this time last year," he said.
"They both would have been playing today. We have no doubt about that."
Inglis was part of the rink skippered by Ryan Bedggood, who scored the biggest success of the day. Bedggood and his charges won 35-14 in the battle with Grant Bourke's rink.
David Pike was the only triumphant skipper for Learmonth, but was left to rue another missed opportunity by his side.
Learmonth has not claimed a division one title since way back in the season of 2000-2001.
The club also lost in the grand final to BMS just two years ago when it was played at Central Wendouree.
Inglis said it was an extra special to win the 2018-19 premiership given the overhaul of bowls in Ballarat planned for next season.
The Geelong-Ballarat Premier Bowls competition is set to end after this season, with the four Ballarat District Bowls Division representatives in that league to join the top four sides from division one in forming a new local top tier in 2019-20.
All other BDBD weekend pennant grand finals were played on Saturday afternoon.
And it was Buninyong that was celebrating two premierships.
The club won the division three flag with a 23-shot success against Ballarat North and the division five title following victory over Sebastopol by the same margin.
Buninyong did lose one grand final, however, with defeat at the hands of Ballarat in the division eight decider.
Over in the Geelong-Ballarat Premier Bowls league, Queenscliff moved through to the big dance after beating Bareena in Saturday's preliminary final.
The Cliffers, which won Saturday's encounter by 14 shots, now chase a third-straight premiership when they battle Ocean Grove in a grand final showdown next weekend.
Bareena had finished on top of the ladder, but was bundled out of the finals series in straights sets.
