Miners went through the weekend unbeaten.
They defeated Camberwell Dragons by 17 points on the road and Corio Bay Stingrays by 30 points at the Minerdome on Sunday.
Amos Brooks had a big double.
He shot 21 points and had 12 rebounds against Camberwell and backed up with 16 and seven.
Ballarat Rush was not so fortunate in Big V women's youth championship, lowering its colours to Melbourne Tigers by 15 points at home on Sunday.
