It's coincidence enough that two guys with the uncommon name of Wade are working together at VicRoads' Ballarat office.

Now it's even more confusing for staff and customers as Wade McGregor had his head shaved, grew a moustache, donned glasses and applied fake tattoos to look like his colleague and friend Wade Farrugia.
What started as a dare for Mr McGregor to shave his head and look like Mr Farrugia for a week snowballed in to a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation in memory of a colleague who died recently from breast cancer.
The big shave and transformation took place at VicRoads Ballarat on Monday.
"It started off as a little joke .. we always joke about how I'm version 2.0, the upgraded version," Mr McGregor said.
"We were sitting out the back (at work) and one of the girls was asking the other Wade if he ever had hair when he was younger, and they asked me whether I would ever shave my head," Mr McGregor said.
"I thought it was the perfect opportunity - if we could get some money raised I'd be more than happy to do it."
We're always having a bit of a joke. I don't know any other Wades so to have two working in the same office ... welcome to the Wade Show!
- Wade McGregor
For the past few weeks Mr McGregor has sported bright green hair in the lead up to the shave. Initial plans to dye his hair bright pink, the colour of breast cancer recognition, were thwarted when there was no hot pink hair dye left.
His hairdresser David Kammerer from The Stag got on board, offering to come and give Mr McGregor a close shave with a cut-throat razor.
But Mr Farrugia didn't get close to the shave.
"I wouldn't trust him with a cut throat," Mr McGregor laughed.
After the shave, Mr McGregor said it was "weird when I saw myself in the mirror" and he couldn't stop touching his head.
"We're always having a bit of a joke. I don't know any other Wades so to have two working in the same office ... welcome to the Wade Show!"
Mr Farrugia said the banter and backchat between the pair wouldn't change, but the pair had been mistaken for each other in the past and the confusion would continue because "now we're twinning".
"I didn't have to do much, just sit back and watch him get shaved," he laughed.
Through fundraising and a Go Fund Me page, The Wade Show has raised about $1500 for the McGrath Foundation towards providing breast care nurses to families and communities across Australia.
