The Ballarat 21-year-old returns to Australia after capturing his first UCI-ranked race - a stage of the Tour of Taiwan.
White took out the third stage to continue what has been a stellar start to the year for the Team Bridgelane rider and give him the biggest success of his fledgling professional career.
The national under-23 road race champion began the five-stage event with strong results, finishing 23rd and 10th on the opening two days.
White then took his opportunity to win a bunch sprint finish and salute in a 156.5km stage.
He lost time on stage four after the big effort and then bounced back with impressive performance for sixth on the last day - giving him 35th in the general classification and fourth in the points category.
Fellow Australian Jonathan Clark won the tour.
White went to Taiwan - his fourth UCI-ranked race since winning the national title at Buninyong - hoping to again impress Australian selectors.
He is hoping to earn selection for the world under-23 road championships in England later in the year.
He has contested the Tour Down Under, Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and Herald Sun Tour - Australia's three premier international road cycling events - this year.
White will now prepare to ride in Europe.
He is also looking to contest a couple of early events in the National Road Series in which he finished second overall last year, which begins in Brisbane on April 14.
