The college organised and hosted its first multicultural day with staff and students experiencing a range of different cultures.
One of the highlights was a variety of multicultural cuisines available for lunch, which students and staff were able to order from local multicultural restaurants.
Students also took part in a range of workshops including the decorative Chinese writing practice of calligraphy, and performances with visiting artists, bands and ensembles.
The event was designed to complement the Ballarat Harmony Festival and last week's statewide cultural diversity week.
Mount Clear College places a high value of multiculturalism, with a strong focus on Chinese language and culture, an ornate Confucius Classroom and regular school trips to the country.
Mayor Samantha McIntosh officially opened the multicultural day at a full assembly where an indigenous Welcome to Country was also performed.
