When fire crews arrived, the blue Nissan was fully involved and was unable to be salvaged
A Lucas fire brigade spokesman said it was like a number of other incidents around the Ballarat region in the last few months. He said it was being investigated by police.
It has been a busy few months for CFA crews around Ballarat who have had now had to deal with more than 30 stolen cars being torched around the region since the start of the year.
This comes on the back of eight separate car fires which have occurred in the Soldier Hill area where cars left out on the street at night have been torched, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
