Children bought in seasonal vegetables including pumpkins, potatoes, corn, onions and carrots, to celebrate the connection of humanity with the natural world and the changing seasons.
They also held performances of poetry, singing, acting and dancing.
"Festivals have the ability to bring us all together whilst highlighting the cycles of life and our connections to it," the school wrote in its newsletter.
"In celebrating the harvest this year, we can all acknowledge and experience gratitude and joy for our place in this community."
After the festival the school donated the harvest to the Ballarat Soup Bus, tying in to a project by year six student Murray Hassell who had collected non-perishable items from the school community to donate.
In all, the harvest and two full boxes of items were handed over to Soup Bus to feed vulnerable members of the Ballarat community.
