They hope the walk will encourage talk for what anyone can do to support family, carers and friends faced with dementia.
Dementia champion Anne Tudor will be guest speaker before sending walkers on their way. Ms Tudor and her partner Edie Mayhew, who was diagnosed with early on-set dementia, have shared their personal stories nationally and internationally.
Harold's Memory Walkers starts Saturday, 9.15am, opposite Loreto College. Registrations will be open on the day from 9am.
