Grylewicz was at the helm of Ballarat Basketball between 2008 and 2012 - some of the organisations most difficult years - and consistently remained positive and motivated to do the best for the sport.
Basketball Ballarat CEO Peter Eddy said his time working with Grylewicz were years he would never forget.
"The personal and professional contribution of Nick Grylewicz to Basketball Ballarat as a player, parent, coach, Committee member and Director ranks alongside those of our greatest contributing Directors to the Ballarat Basketball Association," he said.
"I have been privileged to work alongside Nick for over a decade and I continue to marvel at his capacity to contribute while still meeting his family and business commitments."
Grylewicz will forever be able to go to Miners and Rush games free of charge.
