A car was found on fire at Springbank on Saturday night.

Fire crews and police attended the scene at about 10.10pm at the intersection of Ormond Road and Linehans Road.
According to police, the older-model Mitsubishi was set alight by an "unknown offender".
At this time it cannot be confirmed if the car was stolen or not.
The Ballarat Criminal Investigation unit is investigating.
