The 29-year-old tradesman found out there were warrants out for his arrest via a Facebook post shortly after 7am.
He pleaded guilty to offences dating back to 2014 and 2017, including failing to fit an interlock device to a vehicle and failing to answer bail.
The court was told Weightman was unaware police were looking for him until he saw the social media post.
He was convicted and fined $1000 and released from custody.
Jane Howard, who also handed herself into police this morning after seeing the post, fronted court on Wednesday afternoon.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to six charges, including unlicensed driving, driving an unregistered car, theft and failing to answer bail.
The court was told Howard and a co-accused stole a number of plants from an Allendale nursery on March 31, 2018.
In another incident, the mother-of-three was caught driving in Sebastopol while she was an unlicensed learner driver in an unregistered vehicle.
Howard was convicted and fined $1000 and released from custody.
UPDATE: Both Adam Weightman and Jane Howard are now in police custody.
EARLIER: POLICE have put out an appeal for any information regarding the whereabouts of Adam Weightman who is wanted within the Ballarat area.
Weightman is wanted by police for failing to appear in court and various traffic matters.
The photo which has been circulated was taken in 2014, so his appearance may have changed.
Police have also issued a warrant for information as to the location of Jane Howard.
Howard is also wanted by police for traffic matters and failing to appear.
