A fundraising Zumba class on Tuesday night raised more than $2,200 for the Good Friday Appeal.
Ballarat Zumba instructor Erin Harris ran the Disney-themed dance class for almost 70 people on Tuesday night - her ninth annual fundraiser for the appeal.
It is a fun effort for a cause close to Ms Harris' heart.
Her family has spent countless hours at the Royal Children's Hospital with her eight-year-old nephew who was born with a cleft palate and lip.
He will soon spend more time in the Royal Children's Hospital for another operation.
"I feel amazing about the funds raised," Ms Harris said.
"I usually get around 25 people to my Zumba class so to have nearly 70 is incredible. We had grandparents and mum's and kids get involved. It was wonderful to see everyone having fun."
Ms Harris presented the fundraising cheque to Ballarat Good Friday Appeal representative Ray Trounsen on Wednesday.
Other fundraising events scheduled in Ballarat include a Variety Concert at the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club from 6pm on Thursday night and a Ballarat Family Fun Day at the same venue from 11am to 3pm on Friday.
