The combo-guard has been slowly working his way back to full health through practices and is now 'totally over that injury' according to Miners coach Brendan Joyce.
The inception of Coleman into the line-up will hopefully only strengthen the Miners who are yet to lose a game in the inaugural season of the NBL1. Coleman will make his debut on the road against the Knox Raiders who sit in 14th place on the NBL1 ladder and have only managed one win so far in the 2019 season.
The Raiders have lost three of their four outings, all of which have been against teams in the top half of the NBL1 ladder.
One person who is especially excited for Coleman's debut is former college teammate and current Miners teammate Jerry Evans Jr, who said the game will be very special for both the athletes.
"I can't wait to play with him again, that's going to be an amazing feeling for me," he said.
"Like I've said before it's not often you get to play professionally with your college teammates."
Evans Jr has been playing some great basketball in Coleman's absence, currently leading the NBL1 in free-throws made per game (7.3) and sitting among the top-10 in points per game (21.6).
The Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners will take on the Knox Raiders on the road on Saturday evening at 8pm.
