It was on for young and old over the long weekend, with locals getting into gear and the Lions Club spreading some cheer for Easter.

Churches were packed for Easter services as parishioners took a moment for quiet reflection, while other Ballarat residents spent the weekend revving up at F Series and Bronco Roundup.
The heavyweight convoy spent several hours in Victoria Park on Saturday with the public were eager to check out the pack, with a highlight being the F-100 which appeared in the cult Australian movie Wolf Creek.
"There's just something about them," said organiser Cathy Cleveland. "I've had mine for 16 years. I've driven big cars for most of my life and I don't know what it is ... but I love it to death.
"They can be a real pig to drive but I don't care. I'd rather keep mine in a straight line on the road than drive something with cruise control."
In Alfred Deakin Place on Saturday, a different type of egg scramble was on offer, with eager children scratching through the hay to uncover some tasty treats.
Power FM and Mars put on the Easter egg hunt for children aged from under 1 (with the help of parents) to the more competitive Easter egg grabbers aged 12.
Lions Club of Ballarat's visits the children's and maternity wards at the Ballarat Base Hospital on Easter Sunday every year, to bring joy to sick children.
For 11-year-old Jackson Templeton, and his mum Alycia Beer, the run up to Easter has been filled with anxiety, as doctors tried to pinpoint the location of a staph infection.
"This is the most excitement we've had since we've been here," Ms Beer said.
Lions Club of Ballarat president Bill Sleep said the simple gesture was a way of giving back, after watching his six-year-old grandson battle leukemia.
"When they see the bunny, their faces light up," he said.
There was fun too for the grown-ups with the inaugural Ballarat Beer Hop proving a success, with participants visiting six venues across the city to sample 12 craft beers and six local wines.
