Reid was named co-captain alongside former Brisbane Lion and fellow defender Nikki Wallace.
The 25-year-old Reid finished as runner-up in Williamstown's best and fairest for their inaugural year behind Jess Duffin, establishing herself as one of the best defenders in the competition.
Williamstown football general manager Stephen Soulsby spoke highly of the pair leading up to their second season in the competition.
"They have had different ways of joining us at the start of last season with Jacinta coming off local football in the AFL Goldfields competition whilst Nikki was coming off an appearance in the 2017 AFLW Grand Final," he said.
"Both have their own leadership traits and will work together to lead from the front in helping integrate all the new players and been a driving force and leading by example at training."

The Seagulls had a difficult year in their first season as a part of the Swisse Wellness VFL Womens, only managing one win from their first 11 games. Williamstown finished the year strong, registering three wins in a row to end the season.
Their first game of the 2019 season will be against the Western Bulldogs in round two at home at 7pm on May 1.
