THE REGION'S ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATIONS
BALLARAT: Dawn service at 5.45am at the Sturt Street Cenotaph, followed by a Ballarat RSL Gunfire Breakfast at Ballarat RSL Midlands Golf Club until 9.30am; 7am service at the Fireman's Memorial on the corner of Finches Road and Remembrance Drive, an 8am wreath laying service at the Ballarat Arch of Victory, and 9am Ex-Prisoner of War Memorial wreath laying service; 10.30am Anzac Day March from Lyons Street South to the cenotaph where the commemorative service will take place at 11am.

Marchers should form up on Lyons Street South from 9.30am.
Sturt Street will be closed from Dawson Street to Raglan Street in both directions to all traffic between 1am and 4pm on Thursday, and Lyons Street between Mair and Dana Streets will be be accessible for residents only, with Lyons Street South to Dana Street fully closed from 9.30am to 11.30am.
During the march, from 10.15am, some intersections from Raglan Street to Creswick Road will be progressively closed.
People are advised to arrive early for parking.
Bus routes 11, 23, 25, and 26 will detour.
SEBASTOPOL: March will leave from the post office at 8.45am to arrive for the 9am commemorative service at the Sebastopol cenotaph in Albert Street.
The Midland Highway will be closed will be closed from Victoria Street to Walker Street in both directions from 8.15am to 10.30am.
BUNINYONG: 10.15am service at Buninyong RSL, 401 Learmonth Street, with a short march from the RSL to the old Town Hall and back at 11am before a family-friendly sausage sizzle.
SKIPTON: 11.45am march from the Skipton Primary School on Montgomery Street to the memorial for a 12pm wreath laying, then service at Skipton Mechanics Hall for service. Light lunch in the hall.
CRESWICK: 6am dawn service at cenotaph, Albert St. 6.30am gunfire breakfast at Creswick Town Hall. Wreath laying 9.30am at soldier's section, Creswick Cemetery, 10am at Memorial Stones, RSL Hall. 10.30am march from splash park on Albert St. 11am Remembrance Service at cenotaph.
There will be refreshments at the RSL following the service.
Albert Street between Victoria Street and South Street will be closed between 10am and 11.15am.
CLUNES: 6am dawn service at rear of RSL Hall. 8.30am service at cemetery. 10.45am march from RSL to cenotaph. 11am commemoration and wreath laying at cenotaph.
Refreshments to follow at RSL before Two-Up at the pub.
Fraser, Templeton, Service and Bailey Streets will be closed between 10.30am and 11.30am.
MINERS REST: 10am wreath laying at cenotaph, Howe St.
KINGSTON: 9am wreath laying, Avenue of Honour Memorial.
BUNGAREE: 8am ceremony followed by gunfire breakfast at Bungaree Recreation Reserve memorial.
DAYLESFORD: 6.30am dawn service at cenotaph. Gunfire breakfast 7am. 10.15am street march from town hall. 10.30am main service, cenotaph.
Vincent Street between the Midland Highway and Raglan Street will be closed for the dawn service.
Vincent Street between Central Springs Road and Raglan Street will be closed between 10 and 11.30am.
The Midland Highway between Bridport Street and Jamieson Street will be closed between 10 and 11am.
BEAUFORT: 6am dawn service at Memorial Park.
AVOCA: 5.45am dawn service at cenotaph.
SNAKE VALLEY: 6.30am dawn service at cenotaph.
HEPBURN SPRINGS: 8.30am service.
TRENTHAM: 6am dawn service at the cenotaph on the corner of High and Market Streets. 11.15am meet in the town square before a march to the cenotaph. 11.35am wreath laying and commemorative service.
Refreshments will be held in the Neighbourhood Centre following the service.
High Street between Cosmo Road and Market Street will be closed between 5.30am and 7am and then 10.30am and 12pm.
EGANSTOWN: 9.30am service at memorial.
HADDON: 11am memorial service, cenotaph, Sago Hill Rd.
SMYTHESDALE: 10am service at Smythesdale War Memorial, Glenelg Hwy.
WHAT'S OPEN?
Supermarkets: major supermarkets across Ballarat will open at 1pm.
Shopping centres: open at 1pm, some stores may be closed.
Banks: closed
Medical centre: Eureka Medical Centre will be open 8am to 10pm.
Pharmacies: the 24-hour UFS pharmacy at 717 Sturt Street will be open all day, the Chemist Warehouse in Alfredton will be open from 10am to 5pm, Nova Pharmacy Ballarat will be open 10am to 3pm, Crawfords Pharmacy is open 12pm to 4pm, and all other pharmacies will be closed.
Bus route changes
A number of bus services will be impacted by services taking place on ANZAC Day, here's everything you need to know.
- Sturt Street - outbound routes 11, 24, 25, 26 between 1am-4pm will detour, missing stop 35119
- Sturt Street - inbound routes 24, 25, 26 between 1am-4pm will detour, missing stops 35029, 35030, 35032, 35033
- Sturt Street - inbound route 11 will miss stops 35029, 35030, 35032, 35033, 35028
- Albert Street, Sebastopol route 24 will miss stops 35510, 35511, 35526 between 8.15am-10.30am
