Teen Skate Ballarat
What: Come out for fun on wheels with your mates! The Delacombe Stadium will be open for anyone aged 12-17 for an evening of FREE roller skating on Friday night from 5-7pm. We'll have roller skates, blades and gear available for use and tunes to keep everyone moving. A YMCA Active April session with Ballarat Roller Derby League offered free if you've registered.

Picasso: The Vollard Suite
What: The Vollard Suite is regarded as one of the greatest print suites, and perhaps the most enigmatic and famous of the twentieth century. Comprising 100 intaglio prints it was made by Pablo Picasso between 1930 and 1937, commissioned by the Parisian art dealer and print publisher Ambroise Vollard. The prints explore the enduring themes of history and creativity, ambition and achievement, fear and immortality, moral and physical fallibility, male sexuality and obsession.

Art Versus Entertainment
What: Two worlds collide in an irreverent spectacle of ridiculous proportions. A farcical foray of circus, comedy, dance and magic. Is it Art? Is it Entertainment? Open Gardens Victoria, Mawallok Garden opening
What: Mawallok is a must-see for its grand scale, history and atmosphere. The garden was designed by William Guilfoyle of Royal Botanic Gardens fame in 1909 and this is a rare chance to see the garden in autumn as the trees start to colour up. A visit to Mawallok is a full day adventure - guests are invited to enjoy a picnic on the extensive, shaded lawns and enjoy the food, wine, and produce on offer, together with cooking demonstrations (on Sunday), an art exhibition, plants sales and more.

Soldiers Hill Art Collective walk
What: This year there will be 4 private residences/studios and seven local businesses/shopfronts displaying art. The private residences will be open at the weekends only between 10am and 4pm but the businesses will have work displayed in their windows or inside. Artwork from 17 artists will be exhibited. The variety of artwork includes textile art, painting, printmaking, sculpture, fibre art, paper, work in varied mixed media, furniture and photography.

MONDAY
No Lights, No Lycra regional tour
What: The regional tour hits Ballarat. the global dancing-in-the-dark sensation began in Melbourne in 2009 and is now in 70+ countries. No Lights No Lycra will bring their famous sober and drug-free approach to dance to town halls across regional Victoria. Dancing has been shown to have a positive impact on physical and emotional health, and with support from the Heart Foundation, NLNL wants to support locals to support positive health-and reinvigorate local, regional built spaces.
