Six extra services will run on Saturday and Sunday, three from Ballarat and three from Maryborough each day.
V/Line regional manager Dallas Martin said it was the sixth year that V/Line would operate extra services for the festival.
"There were more than 500 passenger trips on the special services last year so it's always a popular option when visitors are planning their trip," he said.
"The event attracts around 18,000 visitors a year and we hope many of them will consider leaving the car at home and taking the train."
V/Line's normal weekend fares will apply.
Extra trains will run from Ballarat at 9.55am, 12.10pm and 3.30pm while trains from Maryborough are at 11am, 1.15pm and 4.55pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
