He was again judged the Roos' best in a decisive win over Ballan on Saturday.
The three votes take Lukich to 14 after six rounds.
He has a two-vote lead over Joel Antonio (Creswick) and Johnathan O'Brien (Springbank).
Antonio went into the round in joint leadership with Lukich and Darren Tanti (Ballan).
Antonio received one vote, while Tanti was out injured.
O'Brien was a decisive mover with three votes.
Jackson Murphy from Bungaree received two votes to join Tanti on 11 to be in the top five in the club-based award.
