Ballarat boarders from St Patrick's College, Ballarat Grammar and Ballarat Clarendon College have marked National Boarder's Week with a big donation to the needy.
Boarders from the schools have spent the past week collecting winter woollies from classmates and the community, to be donated to Ballarat's less fortunate.
On Friday the groups marched to the Olympic Rings at Lake Wendouree with armfuls of donations, and a gold coin donation each.
