The scores remained level at a goal apiece across the first ten minutes of play before the might of the Power shone through.
Gippsland outscored the Rebels by four goals in the opening quarter and their dominance only continued from there.
The Rebels found themselves struggling to match the speed and ball movement of Gippsland and found themselves trailing going into the main break by 44 points.
The Power dominated the contest statistically, leading the game in every major category other than inside 50s and tackles.
Gippsland carried their momentum out of half time and into the third quarter, kicking the first three goals of the term.
The Rebels showed some signs of life at the end of the third quarter, kicking their first goal since the end beginning of the second term before tall forward Fergus MacDonald booted his third goal to trim the lead to 47 points as they approached the fourth quarter.
MacDonald was one of the lone positives for the Rebels, kicking three goals in only his second game.
There was a lot of intensity shown in the final term as neither team was able to register a major score until 12 minutes in when Rebels 18-year-old Liam Herbert sent one through the big-sticks.
Herbert was one of the Rebels standout players after sitting out their last game due to soreness. He registered 20 disposals to go along with his goal.
The only Rebels player to tally more disposals than Herbert was mid-fielder Jay Rantall who continued his domminant season.
The 17-year-old put together his second consecutive 30-disposal game and kicked a goal in the losing effort.
Ultimately the Power used the ball too well through the middle, running away with a convincing 98-45 victory.
The win is the Power's sixth of the season, keeping them in the top four while the Rebels loss keeps them in the bottom half of the competition.
The Rebels next game will be back at home against the Tasmania Devils on Saturday at 11am.
The Devils are coming off a close, four-point loss to the Dandenong Stingrays at Blundstone Arena.
