An ambulance was called to the racecourse after Rawiller got caught between a horse and a barrier.
The Ballarat Cup-winning jockey was attended to by paramedics on course after the late scratching of his mount Havadash before the fifth race.
Ballarat Turf Club chief Lachlan McKenzie said the 40-year-old was about to be released from hospital and was "100% unhurt."
He told The Courier the ambulance was a precautionary measure due to a spate of neck injuries the jockey had previously suffered.
Rawiller only returned to riding two months ago after being sidelined for nearly six months with two broken vertebrae in his neck.
He's since returned to the track in great form, and earlier this month strung together six winners over a five-day period.
He is next booked to ride in the in the G1 Kingsford-Smith Cup (1300m) and Leonardo Da Hinchi in the G3 Fred Best Classic (1400m) on Saturday.
