Jukebox Jazz
On their debut trip to Ballarat Jazz Series, Melbourne based Vintage Roots brings a uniquely Australian, Rockwiz-inspired twist to their jazz-based interpretations of classic pop tunes.
From iconic artists such as The Beatles, John Farnham, Cold Chisel, Van Halen, Goo Goo Dolls, Madison Avenue, Spiderbait, The Living End, Blondie, Hall & Oates, Cyndi Lauper and many more well known jazz tunes.

Game of Thrones trivia night
Night gathers and now our game begins...You're invited to 2EASY's Game of Thrones trivia night, and when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die (of shame).
You've been summoned to The Printers Room (60 Lydiard Street) at sunset (AKA: 6:30PM) to bring glory to your house in a true test of your knowledge of the 7 kingdoms.
Wine and other beverages will be available at bar prices. There will be prizes up for grabs and a $10,000 iron throne replica will be on display.

Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute Exhibition
The Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute will host special displays featuring the BMI collection of photographs, books and archives. It will be the first time that the collection's oldest book, The Holy Bible, dated 1585, has been on show.

Aboriginal culture and heritage
Ballarat Heritage Weekend will celebrate the history, cultures and stories of Aboriginal peoples with a unique and diverse range of offerings, exhibitions and more.
The carpark in Armstrong Street North will be transformed into a celebration of Aboriginal cultures with a range of fire pits, yarning circles, entertainment and a short film festival. There will also be a range of informative and engaging discussions from Traditional Custodian Tammy Gilson, among others.
In addition to the Aboriginal Short Film Festival, The Humffray Room at the Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute will house an educational and interactive exhibition where you can immerse yourself in the history and heritage of Victoria's Aboriginal people and enjoy some bush tea.

On Saturday, sparkling outfits from the 20s will be paraded The Civic Hall when the Sydney Swing Katz perform Gatsby dance classics like the Charleston and the Foxtrot. In the evening, Adam Mada's magic show to the parade of 60s jewel-encrusted hostess gowns bewitch at the Coffee Exchange. On Sunday, Postcards presenter Brodie Harper will be the celebrity model.

History Ablaze
Ballarat will burn brightly during Ballarat Heritage Weekend, as the streets, laneways and stories of this gorgeous city are brought to life with fire pits, fire displays and entertainment.

Air Force Association Heritage Weekend
There will be Ballarat Engine and Machinery Preservation Group displays, The Morris Minor Club and the Scuderia Sports Car Club of Ballarat and several private owners will be displaying their Classic/vintage cars. The Military Brotherhood with their BBQ trailer putting on a sausage sizzle. A small number of military vehicles on display. 50 plus members of the group from the Sing Australia Choir will be performing, (from 1.30 pm on the Sunday) for WWII/1940 songs in the former dining hall.

Coffee Exchange by Mr Black

Playing the Ghost: A guided tour of Hoaxers & Guisers of the Goldfielders

Queer History Tour
