The Reds are fourth on the Football Victoria men's state league five west table after a 3-0 loss to Melton Phoenix at the weekend.
The Barnstoneworth United boys sit just above Ballarat after also suffering defeat last round.
Winton expected a "hell of a battle" this afternoon.
"They're one point above us in third and haven't conceded many goals, but haven't scored many goals," he said.
"Victory for us will really put us towards the top end."
Winton said Liam Haintz would miss this match with an ankle injury, paving the way for Daryl Tauschke to return to the starting line-up.
The senior clash will be held at Trekardo Park from 3pm with the reserves starting from 1pm.
After that, the Reds have another home encounter against Maidstone United on June 1.
