The Bombers put together an all-rounded performance against the Beaufort Crows on Saturday afternoon, leading to a 62-20 victory.
Having only dropped one game so far this season (56-45 round two loss to Springbank) Buninyong have their eyes squarely locked on a deep finals run this season.
Conversely the loss marked the seventh straight defeat for the Crows, who remain one of two teams left in the competition without a win this season.
The Ballan Blues sit in fourth place on the ladder, only trailing the Bombers by percentage after thrashing Skipton by 31 goals.
Elsewhere the leagues two remaining undefeated teams, Hepburn and Learmonth, secured comfortable wins against Newlyn and Carngham-Linton receptively.
The Tigers got back on track after their first loss, pulling ahead of the Grasshoppers to register a 12-goal victory.
Gordon get one over the Towners in the weekend's closest game, the Demons thumped Creswick on the road and Waubra tripled the magpies score for their third win of the season.
