After winning five of her past six outings with the Ballarat Rush, centre Joy Burke is confident her team can ride their new-found form all the way to a deep finals run.

"Anything is possible, we're full on confidence and believe in each other," she said.
Burke was disappointed the Rush didn't win both of their outings across the weekend, losing by one-point to the Ringwood Hawks at the Minerdome in Saturday evening.
"We definitely wish we had six wins, I think the loss on Saturday night was heart wrenching."

She wasn't pointing any fingers after the loss, instead conceding the slim defeat was a result of mistakes made across the whole 40 minutes.
"All of us made mistakes, all of us contributed to that loss... I don't think we can blame it on one moment."
Going into Sunday's game against the Frankston Blues, Burke was determined not to allow a repeat of Saturday night's result.
"On Sunday we just looked at each other down the end of the game and said "No, this is not happening again."
One of the senior members of the Rush, Burke said she was quick to support her fellow tall Lucy Cochrane after her missed jump-shot which would have won the the game for the Rush at the end of the fourth quarter.
"We told her straight away "That's your shot, if you get an open look you take it."
"I was so proud of her because sure enough a few minutes later she made that same shot. I think that's part of being a team, it's hard to be the one to take the game winning shot but that all comes down to trusting each other."
Burke said the Rush's offensive aggression was what ultimately led to their one-point victory on Sunday.
"The big difference was on Saturday we had the lead and were just being too passive while on Sunday we made it a point to be aggressive."
One of the most aggressive players for the Rush over the weekend was American import Olivia Hackmann. She scored 62 points over the Saturday and Sunday and continued to find her own shot with consistency.
Miners coach Brendan Joyce praised Hackmann's play, even saying he would have liked to have her scoring punch in the men's loss to Frankston.
"Olivia has probably been their most consistent player," he said.
"She and Chanise work unbelievably hard and probably feel some extra responsibility to be aggressive as the imports on the team. We could have done with her, I thought about subbing her in at half-time," he laughed.
