Director Casey Gould said the cast had enjoyed "being silly and playful" as they bring the crazy world of Dr Seuss characters to life.
"Like all of Dr Seuss' stories, this show is woven with allegories," Mr Gould said. "But our version weaves a story of friendship, loyalty, and love. It shows us the power of being unique, and the importance of fighting for your beliefs."
Thirty-four students have been rehearsing three days a week since early April ahead of the eight-show season.
The cast had to overcome early drama when one of the lead actors broke their leg just before rehearsal.
"The performer who stepped in for them has been great and we've managed to work in a character wearing a moonboot so we could still include everyone in the show," Mr Gould said.
