Gravy Spot on Lydiard Street is looking for new owners for the first time in 18 years.
The business, so long the last stop off for late night revellers, has been listed for sale.
Owner David Bending said it was now time for a change.
"Come July 1, I will have been there 18 years," he said. "That's a really long time to be in the one small little place, the time is right to let someone else have a go."

The former Pedro's Takeaway has long been a favourite of inner city revellers with the chips and gravy firmly endorsed as a Ballarat staple.
"We just thought it was time for someone to come in with some fresh ideas and have a go," he said.
"We love what we've built, everyone still knows about us, it's time to give someone else a chance."
Mr Bending said it had been a wonderful 18 years.

"For 18 wonderful and fun filled years we have had the pleasure of being part of your lives," he said in a social media post announcing the sale.
"More importantly you have been a major part of ours. The laughs, the photos, the many social media mentions, the photos, the 'you know you're from Ballarat when', the photos, the lost keys, wallets, phones and did I mention the photos?

"We truly have the best customers in the world and are so thankful to each and everyone of you for the laughs and for taking us into your hearts."
The listing has only been online for a little over a week, but Mr Bending said there had already been a few nibbles - pardon the pun.
The listing on The Professionals website says the business is "Well established and not difficult to run, very profitable with scope to improve, long term lease, rare opportunity to buy well established and consistent business and a perfect location among the entertainment precinct."
The asking price is $295,000 plus stock as valued.
