Senior Rush player Laura Taylor was instrumental in the 84-77 victory, registering 30 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four made three-pointers.
The Sunday afternoon win comes after a tough 86-69 road loss to Diamond Valley on Saturday evening.
The youth league Miners also tasted defeat at the weekend, going down in their first loss of the season against the ninth-placed Werribee Devils.
Missing key players Jeremiah Mckenzie, Blake Allison, Ross Weighman and Zach Dunmore to the senior Miners' road game against Geelong, Ballarat was unable to match the scoring of the Devils in their 93-88 loss.
Anthony Kuel did his best replace the outside shooting of the missing Miners, connecting on four of his 10 three-point attempts in a 20-point performance.
