It will be an important game for the Miners who will be looking to reassert dominance over the league after losing its first game of the season to the Werribee Devils last weekend.
Despite the loss, the Miners remain well clear of the second-placed Supercats on the ladder with 14 wins from 15 matches. The Supercats have won 12 games from 17 matches.
The match will be the second of a two game double-header for the Miners this weekend who will also face the Altona Gators on Saturday.
Meanwhile the Ballarat Rush will hope to break a 12-game losing streak in its match-up with the Hawthorn Magic in the Big V championship women's division.
They enter the contest on the back of an encouraging performance against the Bendigo Braves which only saw it lose by three points.
