Hepburn will make young defender Jordan Barnes work his way back through the reserves due to a misdemeanour during the week.

After sitting out last weekend's win over Gordon through a suspension, Barnes is eligible to return to football this weekend. But he will have to do so through the reserves, with head coach Clive Raak disappointed by the under-18 premiership player's inability to follow team rules.

Raak said Barnes had shown a lack of communication with coaching staff.

While Barnes will remain out of the senior side, the Burras will get back gun defender Segifili Asa Leausa and the important Jack Fowler for this Saturday's battle with Dunnstown. However, young forward Izaac Grant comes out of the team due to his commitments with the Greater Western Victoria Rebels.

The Towners were competitive with reigning premiers Beaufort last weekend but eventually slumped to their eighth-straight defeat in what has been a horror start to the Central Highlands Football League season.

Meanwhile, Newlyn will again be without stars Steve Clifton and Myles Sewell.

Clifton (back injury) and Sewell (overseas) both missed the team's shock loss to Creswick last Saturday and will be absent for the upcoming clash with Ballan.

Ruckman Jarrod Fryar is also away this weekend, while the Blues are missing their top onballer Darren Tanti due to a hamstring injury.

Learmonth has named midfielder Jason Rae to return from an ankle injury but have lost Connor Dickson (hamstring) and Nick Bone (chest) for the battle with Bungaree, while small forward Matthew Spezza (knee) will miss Gordon's encounter with Rokewood-Corindhap. But in some good news, the Eagles get back defender Gerard Clifford and onballer Zack Ryan.

Waubra welcomes back forward John Coleman and backman James Petrie but has lost defender Billy Douglass to a shoulder issue for the clash with Carngham-Linton.

Buninyong host Creswick, Springbank take on Clunes and Skipton lock horns with Daylesford in other Saturday games.
