The biggest parcel of land is the property off Giot Drive in Wendouree, which is described as undeveloped recreational land.

Under the plans, which will be considered by councillors at this Wednesday's ordinary council meeting, both the Ballarat North and Wendouree properties would be re-zoned as General Residential Zone Schedule 1. This would open them for residential development.
The rezoning for the Albert Street property would make it a mixed use zone, which would allow it to be developed for both residential and commercial use.

The council has been reviewing its under-used properties in recent years. There were 13 properties cited in a council agenda published in December 2017, which the council was evaluating as "potentially surplus" land.
These included both the Lake View Court property and the land at Giot Drive, which the council announced its intention to sell in May last year.
The council announced its intention to sell the Albert Street property in January this year.
The council has just sold its former Occasional Childcare Centre on Armstrong Street - located near the GovHub development - for $1.225 million in an auction last week.
The Kohinoor Community Centre on Errard St South is also currently on the market, and is listed with Colliers International.
